Simple Pleasures

First Electric came out yesterday to cut down a dead tree. The boys had so much fun playing on it.

Our little Man

Jeff just went to check in on Asher. He was sound asleep and having a great day :)

Asher's 1st day of School

I sent my tiny baby for his first day at Mother's Day Out. As excited as I was about taking him, I'm already wanting to go pick him up. There were no tears shed. He went in like he had been there before and started playing. He even waved to his daddy when we left. What a big boy he is.

2009 Saline County Fair Parade

Jeff's office is in the perfect spot to watch the fair parade. It goes right in front of his office. He backed his truck up for a perfect view for the boys. Jackson's buddy Hank P. went with us. They all enjoyed the fire trucks, horses and old cars. I think their favorite part was the candy that was thrown into the back of the truck.

Jackson is wrapping up his first week of preschool and he is LOVING it. This morning he was ready to go before 8am (preschool begins at 9am). I had to explain to him that they might not appreciate us showing up an hour early. He seems to really like his teacher, although when I go to pick him up in the afternoons she looks pretty overwhelmed (I know the feeling).

Asher will begin going to First Methodist in Benton on Mondays starting next week. He will attend 1 day per week for now and then we will go from there depending on availability. This will be convenient since it is directly across the street from Jeff's office.

Our New Camper

We got a new camper this weekend and are so excited about going on a family camping trip. Jeff has informed me that it will be occupied with hunting supplies and hunters for the next couple of months during deer season. I'm sure it will need to be scrubbed down after hunting season! Looking forward to many fun memories with the boys and visiting many Arkansas Parks!

Preschool Days

Today is Jackson's first day back to preschool. He wasn't super excited about going, but the more I talked it up the better he felt about it. Here are a few pix from this morning! His teacher's name is Mrs. Amy.

Wooo Pig Sooie!!!

We went downtown tonight to watch a concert with Aunt Cathy. While eating pizza the Razorback cheerleaders came in to get everyone in the spirit before the big Razorback game tomorrow in Little Rock. Jeff was hoping Jackson would let the cheerleaders hold him but he was being shy!
